 Demand Planning Manager / Supply Chain Manager EMEA

 

Location: Cracow, Poland or hybrid mode if an individual lives outside Krakow

  

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Demand Planning Manager / Supply Chain Manager to oversee the demand planning and supply chain operations across the EMEA region. This dual-role position requires a strong leader with expertise in both demand forecasting and supply chain management within the FMCG industry. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, optimize inventory, and ensure the seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers.

 

 

Key goals to achieve in medium-term perspective:

  • Improving forecast accuracy and supply chain efficiency to minimize backorder and reducing losses resulting from overdue and expired products.
  • Improving balance between demand and production.
  • Ensuring accurate demand forecasts, coordinating cross-functional alignment, and driving the S&OP process to achieve business goals across the EMEA region.

 

Duties:

 

Demand Planning: 

  • Develop and manage accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business insights.
  • Lead monthly demand planning meetings with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align forecasts with business objectives.
  • Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends to adjust forecasts and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Implement and maintain demand planning software and tools to enhance forecast accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and present demand planning reports and dashboards to senior management.
  • Support new product launches by providing demand forecasts and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
     

Supply Chain Management: 

  • Oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies across the supply chain.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, trends, and opportunities to senior management.

 

Key requirements:

  • University degree (business, economy, management).
  • Solid knowledge in the supply chain operations and processes.
  • Extensive experience in similar leadership position in Supply Chain Management with deep understanding of inventory control, demand planning, and logistics operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize process flow to improve efficiency.
  • Cross - functional project management experience.
  • Ideal experience from FMCG, pharmaceutical and related industry.
  • MSD / D365 and power BI knowledge.
  • Fluency in English.
